Selva Sanjinés

Artist Statement:
As a Fine artists I work with different materials, but I gravitate to the more traditional ones; clays, stone, wood and pigments.I am developing a sensibility for using recycled materials. I am specially fond of the human figure. This subject bring me into the abstraction of concepts and organicity, connectivity with the environment. I have done large and small figurative works. Recently, I started incorporating light and forms in secluded spaces to create imaginary settings, (mixed media).
