Art is my way to express myself, interact with my surroundings, it is about learning to look, observe and surprise myself. I prefer to work from the human body because it is available and known yet always surprising and challenging. My sculptures exist between the story-telling of my reality and the undercurrent that is revealed during observation and work. I don't seek likeness and I prefer my sculptures open to the interpretation of the viewers. I like to sculpt in clay because the material is soft and flexible and allows me to work quickly and impulsively, which suits my nature. I try to work quickly since the movement and flow of my thoughts and my hand are very important to me. I correlate movement with life. I hope to convey my joy and share it with others.
