Masahito Ono is a visual artist and educator with extensive experience in video journalism. Using photography as his central medium, Ono incorporates other mediums to expand the potential of photography beyond what it traditionally has been. Ono's work investigates photography and its relation to present time and space and transforms itself into a durational work. Ono received his BA in Film and Media Arts at Temple University and is currently pursuing an MFA in Photography and Related Media at Parsons School of Design. Ono was born and raised in Japan and is currently based in New York.
