Joel Voisard earned a BFA in sculpture from Ohio State University and completed graduate work at Savannah College of Art and Design. He moved to NYC in 2002 and has called it home since. Joel’s work has exhibited internationally at Scope Art Fair during Art Basel, Switerland in addition to Scope Art Fair during Art Basel Miami. Works have been exhibited and sold at The Future Perfect (solo exhibit), Leslie-Lohman Museum of Gay and Lesbian Art, Subdivision Art, Henri Bendel, TenOverSix and American Design Club. In 2009, he was selected as GLAAD's best emerging artist. He was also awarded a grant through the NYC Department of Transportation's Urban Arts Program for a public installation spanning the Pulaski Bridge. Another large-scale, public installation at Astoria Park in Queens was completed in 2010. His professional experience includes product design for Martha Stewart, Kmart, Target, Calvin Klein and Donna Karan.
