Edward Joseph Wheeler (Edjo) has called New York City home for the past 16 years and art started for him at an early age. The memories of his fashion illustrator mother teaching him to draw horses, to watching his blue-collar father "MacGyver" the world around him. This combined with extensive time left on his own, created a melting pot of imagination and design, to build the world his mind escaped to in the form of drawings and sculptures. He strives to blend together a relationship of organic and industrial materials into the art you see today. With these metal figures, born of blood, sweat and tears, he brings you the parts of himself he can only express in this form. Several of Edjo's pieces are on display nationally, including several permanent outdoor public structures.
