Daniel Hill is an abstract painter and sound artist whose work has been included in numerous exhibitions exploring the relationship between painting, sound, and science. He co-curated the 2012 traveling exhibition “Emergence and Structure” which included panel talks and symposia between artists and scientists at Lafayette College, Miami-Dade College and the University of Florida. His sound work has appeared in the collaborative video/sound installations “Mythograph” and “Aurorasis” with Angie Drakopoulos exhibited in New York and Paris and his music has received airplay on radio stations in New York, Canada, and Europe. His most recent exhibitions were at McKenzie Fine Art (2012,2013) and Margret Thatcher Projects (2014). Collections that hold Hill’s paintings include: United States Embassies, Microsoft Corporation, and Bank of America. He is currently an Adjunct Associate Professor of Art at Pace University in Manhattan.
